David Weber attended college at Suffolk University in Boston for three years, majoring in journalism and pre-law, with the intent of eventually practicing contract law. The muse had different ideas for him, however, and he left school in 1970 to pursue a music career as a professional drummer. Over the next fourteen years he lived in the San Francisco Bay area, recorded four albums and toured throughout North America. In 1983, he moved to Hollywood, California, to pursue a career in song writing and music production, and he opened a recording studio.
David's recording studio was located in a commercial building that also had six other studio spaces. Within a year, he acquired the leases to these spaces and sub-leased them to other businesses. His career in real estate had started without him really noticing! As a studio owner and property manager, David sharpened his skills at marketing, servicing and negotiating. He eventually sold the studio in 1992.
After moving to Connecticut in 1995 he decided to enter the real estate profession full time. He quickly enjoyed success with Prudential Connecticut Realty, working out of the Wilton office. He was the company's new agent of the year for the state of Connecticut in 1996, and reached the President's Circle in 1997. Only 4% of Prudential's agents nationwide reach this level of production. In 1998, he decided to move to Prudential's Westport office so he could more effectively market and advertise Weston properties. After a year of transition, David has become one of the Westport's office's top producing agents and has achieved the status of Chairman's Circle for 1999, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2010. This reflects the company's highest level of production recognition, reached by only 3% of Prudential's sales associates nationwide. In 2010 David was awarded the 10 year "Legend" award as recognition for the highest level of production, Chairman's Circle, for 5 years. In 2004 David was in the top 1% of Prudential's national sales force.
In June of 2011, David left Prudential and joined Coldwell Banker's Riverside office and KMS Partners, a team of seven seasoned realtors. KMS Partners has been Fairfield County's top producing team for Coldwell Banker in 2008, 2009 and 2010.
