Read What People Are Saying About Me I always ask my clients to write or email me, and tell me truthfully how they appreciated my service to them. Their feedback is so important! Here are a few highlights of what some of my buyers are saying about me...

"David took the time to understand
our housing needs" |
|
"David took the time to understand our
housing needs and limitations, and found us properties which matched our
preferences. He also was very persistent in following up with other brokers who
were often very difficult. After we found our property, he did a good job of
handling all the details of the sale and guiding us through the
process." |

"He provided valuable advice and
supported our negotiating position effectively." |
|
"David did an outstanding job
throughout the transaction. During the search process he understood our needs
and identified listings that would be suitable for us. He provided valuable
advice and supported our negotiating position effectively." |

"David was wonderful to work
with." |
|
"I purchased my new house from David
Weber and sold my old house through him as well. David was wonderful to work
with. He has a very high standard of ethics and he consistently gave me level
and honest feedback throughout the course of the transactions. I wish I came
across more people like him for every transaction with which I am
involved." |

"I would like to express my
profound gratitude to you..." |
|
"I would like to express my profound
gratitude to you for the tremendous job that you did for us in selling our
Wilton house under the most difficult circumstances and then, somehow
magically, in the space of a day coming up with the new house in Weston that
met the most demanding specifications - one story house, lots of land, no views
of neighbors, light and airy and all within our price range. It was absolutely
amazing and Luisa and I are still pinching ourselves that all this has actually
happened, and all on the same day. In this life I have learned that there are
very few people who say what they mean and mean what they say and do what they
say they will do. Our hats are off to you for a performance above and
beyond." |

"We wanted to express our gratitude
once again..." |
|
"We wanted to express our gratitude
once again for all the hard work you did finding us the right house. We've been
here about 6 weeks now and love it more than ever. We consider ourselves very
lucky to have found this house, and we recognize we have you to thank for that;
spotting the house before it even got on the market.
"As we mentioned during the process,
we saw a number of wonderful homes with you, and we commented to one another
several times that you really identified very quickly what we were looking for,
and were able to come up with several possibilities in a very short period of
time.
"We have told friends and
acquaintances that if they are looking in Westport, Wilton or Weston that they
should call you. If you need or want any type of formal reference for future
customers, please feel free to have them contact either of us." |

"As I am close to opening the last
moving box in my new home..." |
|
"As I am close to opening the last
moving box in my new home, a smile grows on my face thinking about our hunt and
car rides together. Thanks to you and all the people at your office, the
closing and financing process went smoothly and did not tax my time.
"Your efforts, ability, screening
skills, integrity and personal attention are the reasons I found the right home
and was able to be the prevailing bidder. If it wasn't for your creative
initiative, we would have never gone to contract and I would not be unpacking
the last moving box in my new home now.
"Thanks again for all your help.
Whenever I need to sell or buy a house, you'll be the only person I'll
call." |

"We are writing you this letter to
tell you how pleased we are with David Weber..." |
|
"We are writing you this letter to
tell you how pleased we are with David Weber, one of your Westport-based
brokers. After September 11, we had decided it was time to move out of New York
City, a decision that we had been contemplating for three years. We met David
through one of his listings and and liked him so much that we decided to have
him work with us.
"David listened to our needs carefully
and tailored our homesearch in a way that closely matched our desires. We were
not that familiar with Westport, but David proved to be an outstanding resource
for us to quickly get up to speed on the area. He knew that we intended to take
a lot of time in making our home purchasing decision, and that it was likely we
would not be making a purchasing decision in the immediate future. Despite
this, David took a long-term view towards our relationship and happily spent a
lot of time with us, showing us many houses that fall. He displayed patience
and kept us informed as to market activity over a period of many months. We
never felt pressure from David to make a decision. He seemed very concerned
that we find the right house for us-however long it took. In fact, he was
always quick to point out to us flaws in or issues that we might have with
houses that he showed us.
"In the following spring, a house came
on the market that David felt would perfectly fit our needs and was priced at a
good value. He was right on target. It is brokers like David that will continue
to make your company a success and a standout from the pack. He is a true
professional and somebody that we consider a friend." |

"Sandra, Abby and I would like to
thank you for the wonderful job you did..." |
|
"Sandra, Abby and I would like to
thank you for the wonderful job you did in helping us find our house in
Westport. In particular, you were able to bridge Sandra's need for a family
neighborhood with my desire for a more private setting in finding the perfect
house for us.
"We realize through the process of
educating us on fair value, the different areas of Westport and the nuances of
each property takes a professional who understands the market and the client.
Providing us the opportunity to look at our house before it was listed speaks
to your knowledge of the market and the extra steps you took in helping us in
this process. Having worked with several brokers before meeting you, it is
obvious to the difference your preparedness made in finding our
house." |

"I wanted to drop you a note to
tell you how much I enjoyed working with you." |
|
"I wanted to drop you a note to tell
you how much I enjoyed working with you on both the selection and purchase of
the house at 27 Richmondville, Westport. It was a joy to have an agent who
really listens to client requirements, selects appropriate properties to view
and follows every strep of the transaction with both personal care and true
professionalism (and, since I'm an agent myself, I can really appreciate both
those qualities). Given some of the difficulties we had with this transaction,
I particularly appreciated having an agent who could keep both the transaction
and me in perspective and on track." |

"I purchased my new house from
David Weber and sold my old house through him as well." |
|
This all took place in July, 1999.
David was wonderful to work with. He has a very high standard of ethic and
consistently gave me level and honest feedback throughout the course of the
transactions. I wish I came across more people like him for every transaction
with which I am involved.
"My only regret is that I can't buy
and sell houses through him every year. I credit our happiness with our current
home to David." |

"I would like to thank you for the
time and effort you spent in finding us our home in
Westport." |
|
After a long tedious process, which
included daily faxes, showings of over a hundred houses, and several binders,
we are very pleased with the results of our year long search. I realize at
times I was, to say the least, "a demanding client". Your patience in dealing
with our demands, your guidance with regard to life in the United States, and
your knowledge of real estate in Westport were all of great value. Thank you
for everything." |

"Maybe I never told you how I had
felt about real estate sales people..." |
|
"Maybe I never told you how I had felt
about real estate sales people and the awful experiences I had with them before
I found you on the Internet. I was always told I could never find a condo in
Westport, and when I insisted they follow up for me, they never did. Maybe
because my husband is handicapped and I was always alone they thought I was
"just looking"
who knows? The other day I was reflecting on our shared
experiences, and discovered that we had closed five deals together in a period
of 12 months! Think about it; we bought a condo in case we sold our house and
had nowhere to live, then Michael got sicker and we couldn't begin to prepare
our house for sale. Than you suggested we rent the condo, and we did, for a LOT
of money, then you sold our house, sold the first condo and found us another
PERFECT condo, much to our delight.
"Michael and I talk about you all the
time; he's so smart, but no, that's not all, he's so pleasant
and willing
to help and please. No, he is so PATIENT! I never met anyone in business as
centered, honest and yet fun to be with. Even though we are "old fogeys" we
will always count you among our closest and most valued friends..and your
lovely wife. One more thing. Remember I told you that my closest friend was a
realtor? Well, when we talked about you she said you were far and away more
committed to your customers than she has ever been." |

First Time Buyers >A Realistic Evaluation
Your real estate agent's job is to find you the perfect home, in the right location, with all the amenities you want--and at the right price. It is the home inspector's job to find any skeletons in the closet -- or in the plumbing, wiring, roof, basement and beams.
The inspector won't pass or fail a home based on what he or she finds, but will go over the house thoroughly to help you understand the condition of the property you are buying. If there are any serious problems, your inspector can give you a realistic idea of how much the repairs will cost. If there are material defects that were not reflected in the asking price, you will have the opportunity to re-open negotiations with your sellers before you commit to the purchase. A good inspector will also explain the operation of the basic emergency systems such as the main water cut off valve and the circuit breaker box, and will go over items that will need routine maintenance.
If you are buying a house, we recommend that you make a professional home inspector part of your home purchase team.
